I keep thinking back to someone posting this photo of their friend talking with this homeless person.

I replied saying “I think that’s the guy that threatened me a few days ago” or something like that, lol. I said that in jest but it was true, and he was in the same spot. My friend and their friend seemed to be engaging him. I don’t know what they were talking about - some fuckshit, but comfortable enough where she took a picture and made a caption.

That dude though…lol. When I seen him, he did that ‘I’m about to fight you’ lunge into my personal space. Then went on a tirade about how black women are so scared and unfriendly with Black men (…yea, crazy person is crazy). I did not really care so much about what he was saying. He called me a bitch and such, that’s still not nice.

It was the lunge he made towards me. ~~First time someone made a purely negative gesture towards me.~~ (Nope, just remembered something…LOL). People keep telling me to carry some sort of weapon, but I’m optimistic about human nature and such. I don’t know why? lol.. A co-worker had to walk a block to get to her car and carries a taser and pepper spray. I was completely shocked. But, there was another incident where a guy tried to grab me in fucking daylight on a busy street… *sigh - I’m just face palming.

I had to delete a bunch of “well maybe” shit because I keep remembering that A LOT of incidents have happened where I shouldn’t feel safe anyway. It trips me out because I never really cared so much. I’m still mostly afraid of roaches, still. But all this physical, I’mma try to touch you, or harm you, knowin’ I smell like must then call you a bitch…ehn lol. I know it’s difficult to even attempt to rationalize these things but it’s still alarming, gross, and on my mind at the moment. Kind of wondering why I’m not as scared as people who haven’t experienced similar at all. It’s not me being tough because I’m basically a recluse that’s hyper-aware of people and avoiding them, lol. Normal people sum up possible danger. I sum up the different walking patterns I’d take to just fully avoid interaction. I get brave sometimes…then stuff like the above happens, lol.

Sometimes brands/management will slip on giving you a .eps/.ai/.psd file of a logo. So you may just luck up a find something on Google. It’s usually a .jpg and you need to remove the background - womp. Here’s what I did:

(I found a logo that was in #FFF and #000 already. if not, try your best to get pure black and pure white with Levels and such.)
1. Set logo layer to Multiply.
2. Duplicate the layer of the logo.
2. Invert it
3. Change the top layer’s blend mode to Screen, or Darken/Multiply depending on your objective (original layer will be set to Screen).

if you’re anal about edges and small details like I am… (aka how to create a clipping mask)
4. Create another layer between these two layers
5. Use a circle brush, the size should slightly cover the entire logo. You should use 0% Hardness and click on the logo (creating a halo color burst thingy which I prefer to use in absolutely everything)
6. Now hold your alt/option key and click between the first layer and the layer you just used the brush on (a little double circle icon should appear)
7. Click once.

Yay, done! Notice your shit is clean now :) You can muddy the color of the burst through different color layers with different blend modes. It all just depends. *shrug It should be noted that I did this with layers underneath, under a plain transparent background this wouldn’t work.*

Visual:

(first 3 layers are what I just explained) I deleted the edges of Layer 1 because the part of my document was transparent. I use Photoshop CS5.1 on a Mac. Even explaining this makes me feel silly…maybe I have done this before I just forgot. I’m gonna roll with that one.
